This personal data is information which allows GO AS U.R. to identify you as a natural person, regardless of whether we actually do this. You are identifiable as soon as it is possible to create a direct or indirect link between one or more data and you as a natural person. 

GO AS U.R. highly values and respects your privacy. We promise to only use and process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the other applicable regulations. Every reference in this Privacy Statement to the ‘GDPR’ is a reference to the Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of such Data.

By using our Website, the User declares having read this Privacy Statement and explicitly agrees to the possible collecting and processing of personal data as described in this document. GO AS U.R. reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at all times. Every substantial change will be clearly communicated towards the User. We advise you to consult this document regularly.

GO AS U.R. is responsible for the processing and decides alone or in cooperation with others which personal data is being collected as well as the purposes and the technical and organisational means with regard to the processing of this personal data. As a consequence, GO AS U.R. is a ‘data controller’ within the meaning of the GDPR.

GO AS U.R. is free to rely on data processors. A processor is the natural or legal person who processes your personal data upon request and on behalf of the data controller. The processor is required to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. Each processor shall always act on the instructions of GO AS U.R.

GO AS U.R. relies on the following categories of "processors":

  • Hosting companies;

In accordance with the GDPR, GO AS U.R. processes personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds:

GO AS U.R. commits to only collect and process your personal data which are necessary for achieving the purposes pursued by GO AS U.R. GO AS U.R. processes the following categories of personal data:

5. For which purposes is my personal data being used?

The processing of your personal data is therefore essential for the proper functioning of the Website and the provision of associated services. If certain personal data is missing, incorrect or incomplete, GO AS U.R. reserves the right to suspend or cancel certain operations.

Your data shall be stored for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes pursued. Your personal data shall be erased from our database as soon as its storage is no longer necessary for the purposes pursued or if you validly exercise your right to erasure.

  • You have validly exercised your right of opposition;
  • Your data has been illegally processed;
  • Your data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation.

The deletion of data is mainly related to visibility; it is possible that the deleted data are still temporarily stored.

In certain cases, you have the right to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data, especially in case of dispute as to the accuracy of the data, if the data are necessary in the context of legal proceedings or the time required to GO AS U.R. to verify that you can validly exercise your right to erasure.

9. How to exercise your rights?

We promise to respond as soon as possible, and no later than one (1) month after receipt of your request. No costs will be charged when you exercise your rights.

 

10. Possibility to lodge a complaint


If you are not satisfied with the processing of your personal data by GO AS U.R., you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority (for Belgium: https://www.privacycommission.be/).

 

11. Court of competent jurisdiction


In the event of any dispute regarding the execution or interpretation of this Privacy Policy, GO AS U.R. will do everything in its power to find an amicable solution. In the absence of an amicable solution, the dispute may be submitted to an arbitration and mediation center (such as CEPANI).

All disputes relating to or arising from the processing of personal data by GO AS U.R will be submitted to the courts of the judicial district Antwerp.
